Just found a story on the register about a student who reported a potential security problem on his school network, we don’t have the exact email text he used, but he’s on a 3 felony count and probably about to have his shit ruined.

This just goes to show, that doing the right thing, is stupid and what you should do instead, is go get yourself 7 proxies, drop dox on 4chan, anonymously email the administrator of the school and ruin their day instead, seriously, guys, I think this is what they want, they don’t want to act reponsible, killing the messenger in the real world is the way to go. Seriously, guys you want to act like a asshole so we have to act like assholes in return?

So kids, remember, when you are facing a trauma, not sure whether to report a crime, or whether to tell someone what you found, keep your mouth shut, let someone else do it, protect yourself with 7 proxies and be happy, anyone not taking this advice, is about to make the worst mistake of their life.
